Music of Bapu’s latest film Sundarakanda was launched at a function arranged on the night of 27 January. D Rama Naidu and VV Vinayak were invited as guests. D Rama Naidu launched the audiocassette and gave the first unit to financier Gurunadha Reddy. VV Vinayak launched the audio CD and gave the first unit to Financier Satherangaiah.

D Rama Naidu said, “There is always a novel element in Bapu’s films. I liked the designs and posters of Sundara Kanda.”

Charmme said, “I feel lucky and honored to work with such a great director like Bapu. The credit of posters must go to Bapu. I am dedicating this film to my parents and Satyamurthy. I realized the importance of parents while doing this film. Bapu is my darling. I like him.”

Naresh said, “Bapu watched Kithakithalu before selecting me for this character. I feel really lucky. Bapu does not attend functions. The only functions he attended were his marriage and his brother’s marriage.”

Bapu and music director Vidya Sagar could not make it to the function.
