Audio of Tammareddy Bharadwaja's latest film 'Pothe Poni' was released in a function arranged at the residence of Dasari Narayana Rao. Siva Balaji and Sindhu Tolani played main lead. Vicky J Meyers composed music. Music was also released into the market on the same day by Aditya music.

Dasari said, "Tammareddy Bharadwaja is a director of commitment. He could not able to direct films due to his busy schedules in solving problems of cine workers. I gave him suggestion to make a good film. He met me and narrated the subject of this film. I opined that this is the right subject. He also screened me the film recently. This film also has lots of neutrality in it like Aithe and Anand films. Since the original title Bullet represents mass film, I suggested that it should have casual and apt title like 'Pothe Poni'. Bharadwaja immediately changed the title. Tammareddy touched a burning issue on society. I liked this film the most after 'Alajadi' from Bharadwaja. I hoped that this film would become a big hit. The tunes composed by Vicky J Meyers are good."

Director Tammareddy Bharadwaja said that he has chosen clippings of newspapers as basis for the story. Climax of the film is going to be a thought-provoking one. Actress Sindhu said that she is extremely happy to have worked in a lady-oriented film. Actor Siva Balaji said that he donned a role that fights for the society.
